Dear Business Statistics Professor,
I felt quite bad about writing a negative evaluation for you, but after our final exam today I think I should have wrote about your complete inability to write unambiguous exams. Not only do you word sentences in way that make my upper level finance professors seem understandable, but you also include on the exam, topics that our class did not go over. You mentioned several times that we do not need to know how to calculate P Values and R^2, as it is "too complicated for the scope of our class", and that we only need to know how to interpret the values (which you were supposedly going to include). Obviously that wasn't the case as the last two questions specifically asked for us to calculate R^2.
In terms of teaching ability, you're fairly passable at explaining things. But both your TAs are better in that they don't oversimplify. They also don't contradict themselves and their text.
I'm also not sure why you keep on teaching us Excel functions. Why in the world are there so many excel functions in place of equations on your examples. Sure, we are business students, and we would need to know how to do this stuff one day, but I can't exactly open up my laptop during exams can I?
Dear self,
That stats exam wasn't actually that hard. Had you spent maybe an hour more on it you would have done so much better. Or at least you would have gotten BS points on that one problem that seemingly didn't make sense. Girl get your crap together. Or I will punch you in the face. I know you don't care about things anymore but you are too close to the finish line to veer off course. Don't fuck it up.
