So~~today was my first day of college! I was so nervous for my classes. At night, I couldn't sleep and I was tossing and turning all night. I'm glad my roommate didn't wake up, but I couldn't keep cool, and when I tossed my blankets off, I was too cold. When I had my blankets on, it was too hot. Why Jennifer?! So, I had to refind my classes because of my royally rearranging my schedule at last moments notice. I had PSYCH101 at 9:30, Chinese111 (yes I finally got the add code, but for the wrong class! ;_; the teacher's trying to help me get into his own class) at 10:30, and Math124 at 2:30. Well, here's a rundown of the first two:

PSYCH101
I've met a friend in this class. Her name's Sonya and she randomly sat next to me during breakfast. After we talked a little, I found out that she and I had the same class that morning. Huzzah! Well, we ended up getting lost to the obscure building that was hiding next to the fountain and was late to class. Not only did I find out that I was missing this gadget for the class, but it also had the wrong book from my previous PSYCH class. ;_; The teacher was nice, he arred like a pirate and we sang the UW Alma Mater Song, but I've dropped his class. I'm trying to get back into my original Psych class but no avail...I need another add code.

Chinese 111
Oh my god, this class was a complete disaster. When I wandered in there, the teacher (my interviewer as well) looked at me like I was an alien because I was supposed to be in the other Chinese Class but I couldn't fit it in my schedule. So I hope I can actually get into his class! ;_; Anyways, there were people who were carrying entire conversations in Mandarin so I was wondering "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" yes yes, I felt very inadequate.

Math124
I think I signed up for my friends' class, because she said she saw me there. :P but the teacher was really energetic and happy. So I think this class will go well. I just don't really wanna do the work ><;;

Psych101 part2
Well, this teacher was very professional. He was funny, informative and very used to the large lectures...this was my original psych class before I screwed up my schedule for Chinese. I have a little reading to do for the class, but that's cool. He also readily gave me the add code for his class, but kind of coldly walked away afterwards...gotta get used to that. Uncaring Professors...hmm...

all in all, my day has been okay. Nothing great happened, nothing horribly mind blowing, but just the average day full of frustrations for me. >;D
